Satin

Satin is a series of bed textiles of satin woven cotton with soft feel and silk matte luster. Luster comes because of the technology to use when you weave the fabric. Satin has a weave technique where threads lay over four threads, for one, four and so on. This means that a large part of a thread is against the fabric surface without being interrupted by an oncoming thread. This provides a fabric with fine luster, a softer, smoother feel and a nice fall. The fabric feels cool and comfortable against the skin and is both flexible and easy.

To get a longer life on satin sheets, we recommend not tumble drying them because that extra wear on the surface and can cause pilling. To regain satin’s fine luster and softness, it is necessary to ironing the sheets carefully. At ironing presses down the fibers stand up from the fabric surface, and thus a smoother surface which has a fine luster and no pilling on as easily.

Percale

Percale is a series of exclusive bed-set of the best combed cotton. Bed sets, and the sheets are luxuriously cool and comfortable and is easy care. Percale do not have the same luster of the fabric of satin, but is a little durable when they have the same weave fabric technology that ordinary cotton bed sets. Percale is the finest quality. Percale is the name of an ordinary cotton weave that has many extra threads per cm (200 threads per square inch) and extra thin and fine yarns. Since the threads are so thin and the weave is so dense surface is very smooth and thus soft and comfortable against the body. The advantage of percale compared to satin is that percale has the usual cotton wear and thus remain fine even longer.
